Flutter vs React Native for Business Apps

By DevSoftTech · Updated October 2026

Flutter and React Native both let you build Android and iOS apps from one codebase, which usually costs less and launches faster than two separate native apps.

Flutter uses the Dart language and draws its own interface, which gives very consistent design across devices and smooth animations.

React Native uses JavaScript or TypeScript and native interface components. It suits teams that already use React for the web and want to share skills and some code.

Performance. Both perform well for typical business apps such as bookings, orders, dashboards and delivery. Heavy graphics or deep device features may need native code in either.

Cost and hiring. Costs are similar. Choose the framework your developers know best and that has the libraries you need, such as payments, maps and notifications.

When to go native. Choose Swift or Kotlin when you need the latest device features on day one or very specialised performance.

Our advice. For most business apps either works. Tell us your goals and we will recommend one. See our Mobile App Development page for details.
